"Salt Spray, Rain and Rust"

JG Freedman says, "I want to show what life on the waterfront is like, what it's like to work around all that power, machine power and nature's power, where a simple mistake or a sudden storm can be life threatening. I want to celebrate the salt spray, the rain and the rust."

And this is exactly what Freedman does in this new exhibition of his powerful paintings, based on his life at sea. Gordon Smith says Freedman "has a very honest integrity in his artistic expression. That's very special in Canadian art today."

"Salt Spray, Rain and Rust" opens November 3 at LindaLando Fine Art and will remain on view until November 12.
